Emergency repairs

No heat in winter, a hot water failure with kids in the house, a boiler leak: these can't wait. We respond same day where possible and prioritise emergencies over scheduled work. Most callouts are stabilised within an hour of arrival and fully repaired the same visit.

Emergency repairs

Our approach to emergency repairs.

  1. // 01

    Phone triage

We talk through the symptoms before dispatch. Sometimes the fix is a 60-second pressure top-up over the phone. If you do need an engineer, we book the soonest slot and give you an honest ETA.

  2. // 02

    Make safe on arrival

Isolate gas, water or electrical supply as needed, contain any leak and get the system to a stable state before diagnostic work begins.

  3. // 03

    Diagnose and quote

Identify the fault, explain it clearly and write a fixed price quote on the spot. No surprise invoices afterwards.

  4. // 04

    Repair

Most issues resolved on the first visit using parts in the van. Where a part needs ordering, we leave you with a working temporary setup where possible.

  5. // 05

    Aftercare

Full system test, monitoring guidance for the following 24–48 hours and a written record of what was done in case it's needed for an insurance claim.

What you can expect.

  • Real same day response. Same day where capacity allows, not the next available slot tomorrow.

  • Phone triage first. We try to fix it over the phone before booking a callout.

  • Fixed price quote on arrival. You know the cost before any work starts.

  • Make safe priority. Stabilising the issue is always first; full repair second.

  • Insurance ready paperwork. Written records suitable for home insurance claims if you need them.

On pricing

Quotes are free. We'll be honest about what's actually needed, with no inflated fixed prices and no "we're only here for the day" pressure. Most jobs are quoted same day.
